New Democracy

I’m sick of this!  A true democracy needs to function strictly on the two thirds consensus rule!  Thats right STRICTLY!  You better have two thirds of your population registered to vote before you even vote on ANYTHING!  Then at least two thirds of the registered voters have to vote on a particular thing for it to be considered.  Then two thirds of the voting people have to vote for or a thing to be passed.  I’m serious once you get two thirds registration it should be considered that a necesity to vote has arisen then once two thirds of those registered are voting on a particular thing it can be considered to mean the population cares enough about the subject matter for it to be tallied.  If two thirds of the voting vote for it then it is passed.  What if you can’t get two thirds of the eligible population registered to vote?  There is no reason to vote the people are content enough without voting for changes.  What happens if two thirds of registered voters aren’t voting on a particular item?  That item is not important enough to change the people don’t care enough leave it alone until such a time as they do.  What happens if two thirds of the voting don’t vote for it nothing leave it alone until they do.  What am I talking abou voting for?  Anything, everything, and the stuff in between.  If we are VOTING this is how it should work.  Well what about the president?  Well if we don’t care enough to have one then we won’t!   What about checks and balances?  If something does become out of balance the voters will make sure that it is known they wish to vote by making sure two thirds of the eligible population is registered.  What about people who just are stubborn and don’t want to vote for any reason?  Well I assure you that if things distressed them enough they would vote so I think that as long as they are so content as to not be heard and there is less than two thirds registered there is no reason for voting of any sort.
